چکیده
As the standards of bridge design and construction continue to improve, more combination bridges are being put into use. The public’s demand for aesthetically pleasing is also increasing, making it necessary use special structure steel–concrete combinations, continuous V-shaped piers, continuously stiffened bridges. This has structural mechanical characteristics both a girder pier bridge. span can be reduced certain extent because support piers applied directly main girder. spanning capacity generally greater than that combined with vertical piers. whole continuous, without expansion joints, stable safe traffic. At present, research on this type not yet complete. In paper, system dynamic investigated in context real-life engineering. Firstly, self-vibration three structures were analyzed, their effects studied by varying height crossbeam at piers’ support, beam stiffness, stiffness structures. results show increase effectively improve structures, most obvious effect one least two; causes huge improvement transverse Subsequently, two-unit rod model background was established using finite element method, original improved calculating equivalent shear nail group so could simulate joints accurately. connectors beam–V-shaped rigid-frame through theoretical analysis simulation. It found due existence flexible connectors, interface between steel concrete slab slippage which deformation become unsynchronized, there difference vibration patterns. frequency damage local does have large overall structure, but beginning connection other areas. Damage should given consideration comparison

Damage detection of multi-girder bridge superstructure based on the modal strain approaches
The research described in this paper focuses on the application of modal strain techniques on a multi-girder bridge superstructure with the objectives of identifying the presence of damage and detecting false damage diagnosis for such structures. The case study is a one-third scale model of a slab-on-girder composite bridge superstructure, comprised of a steel-free concrete deck with FRP rebars...
متن کاملModal Characteristics of Composite Beams with Single Delamination- A Simple Analytical Technique
In the present research, the effects of delamination size and location on vibration characteristics of laminated composite beams are investigated both analytically and numerically. In the analytical method, the delaminated beam is modeled as four interconnected Euler–Bernoulli beams and the constrained and free mode models are both simulated. The differential stretching and the bending-extensio...
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Deflection Measurement of Masonry Arch Bridges with Tall Piers: Case Study of Shahbazan Bridge
A common practice for detailed assessment of masonry bridges is to use recorded deflection signature of mid-span of such structures due to predefined loading schemes. However, measuring the deflection of bridges with tall piers or those situated over deep valleys introduces certain difficulties, since common deflection-meters require a reference point relative to which the measureme...
